About Us

MADE is a boutique for current RISD students to sell their handmade products and art objects. The team envisions MADE as an invaluable resource for students to supplement their classroom education with real-world learning experience.

The support we garner from the official launch will directly determine our ability to receive funding. Purchasing an item, sharing our website or liking us on social media are all concrete metrics that can help us demonstrate the need for this platform. Through MADE, we hope to remind the community and visitors the joy and meaning of supporting independent artists and designers. Each item is hand crafted with care and dedication by emerging creatives. Please have fun browsing MADE and getting to know our MADE student artists at a more meaningful level. 

As of now MADE is an independent student run organization unaffiliated with the Rhode Island School of Design. Although we are not officially affiliated with the school for the pilot program, we have received immense support and mentorship from the RISD community are in continuous dialogue to find a solution.
